Dr. Lucy Steinitz, an AIDS activist and faith-based NGO worker based in Namibia, Africa will be this year’s Periclean-In-Residence from November 7 through 17. Dr. Steinitz’s visit is co-sponsored by the Truitt Center and also the General Studies Office of Elon University. She will be speaking at the premier of “You Wake Me Up,” the fourth documentary created by Project Pericles; speaking with Global Studies classes; and addressing HIV/AIDS issues on campus.
