The annual Collage concert, produced by students in the Department of Performing Arts, raised a total of $1,551 for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
Audience members were encouraged to make contributions after each of the four performances. Senior music theatre major Preston Ellis, a New Orleans native, made a heartfelt appeal for assistance at each performance, just before the full company sang “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as a finale.
