The Elon University percussion ensemble will hold its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8 in Yeager Recital Hall, located in the Center for the Arts on campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
Guest artist Jimmy Finnie has served as principal timpanist for the Terre Haute Symphony and is director of Indiana State University’s percussion ensemble and steel drum band. He is featured as marimba soloist on the ISU wind ensemble’s CD, “Symphonic Moments.”
The concert will feature Elon percussion students and Finnie under the direction of Elon Artist in Residence, Jon Metzger.
