Physics students, faculty to present at conference

Seven physics majors, two faculty members and one alumnus will represent Elon at a sectional meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers to be held at the University of North Carolina – Pembroke on October 28th and 29th. Students from institutions throughout the North Carolina will be presenting posters on their physics research projects. Elon senior Michelle Snyder will exhibit her summer research on “Exploring New Perturbative Techniques.” Assistant Professor of Physics Martin Kamela will also present his recent work on “An Oscillating System with Sliding Friction.”
