The Elon University chamber orchestra will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on campus.
Under the direction of conductor Tom Erdmann, the orchestra will perform Howard Hanson’s “Second Symphony, ‘The Romantic,’” and Haydn’s “Piano Concerto in D,” featuring Elon faculty member Victoria Fischer Faw. The program will also include Handel’s “Concerto Gross, Op. 6 No. 1” and Pärt’s “Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
