L.D. Russell, lecturer in religious studies, gave a presentation titled “Racing vs. Religion: A Brief History of Occoneechee Speedway” for the Hillsborough Historical Society Sunday, Oct. 30. Russell discussed the second chapter of “Godspeed: Religion and Racing,” his book-in-progress.
