Christine Vion-Gillespie, Manager of Employee Relations and Compliance with SAS Institute in Research Triangle Park, N.C., spoke to students in the Career Center Nov. 9 about career opportunities in the Human Resources Management field. Also present were Brian Allen ‘92, Human Resources Manager for Gold Toe Brands in Mebane and President of the Alamance County Human Resources Association (ACHRA), and Valerie Edson, Human Resources Consultant with Senn Dunn and Director of the NC Society for Human Resources Management (NCSHRM). Also present was Sonya Fitts, HR Generalist from Alamance Regional Medical Center. Approximately 30 students from a variety of majors attended. The event was sponsored by the Elon Career Center and Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society.
