Associate Professor Jon Metzger presented a jazz vibraphone clinic at the 30th annual Percussive Arts Society International Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Metzger’s appearance was sponsored by the vibraphone manufacturer Musser and marks the second time he has been invited to present at the conference.
In addition this semester, Metzger gave a master class for percussion and jazz studies students at UNC-Chapel Hill, performed at the North Carolina Jazz Composers concert at Queens University, and presented a jazz improvisation workshop for music therapists outside Sienna, Italy.
