Jeffrey C. Pugh, professor of religious studies, was elected to the International Bonhoeffer Society Board of Directors at the American Academy of Religion meetings held in Philadelphia, Nov. 18-22. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a well known German theologian who was implicated in the conspiracy to assassinate Hitler. Pugh has previously served as chair of the program committee for the Bonhoeffer section of the Academy.
Pugh’s article, “Science and Religion” a revision of an earlier entry, was published in the new Encyclopedia of Religion in the South, released this Fall through Mercer University Press.
