At the first-ever Elon Idol competition, held Monday, Dec. 5, Gretchen Bruesehoff, Whyte Carter, BJ Mabolo, Bryce Blackford, Sarah Arnn, and Cheri Armour competed for the title of Elon Idol. From classics to country, Jewel, and Whitney but no Bobby, the high notes were hit and nearly 200 students had a great time voting for their favorite Idol, along with our very own Simon, Paula, and Randy.
By one vote (less than one percentage point), Cheri Armour was crowned Elon Idol by the judges and audience. Thanks to all those particpating and coming out for the event. A special thanks to our judges, Dr. Clark, Dean Patterson, and Dr. Freeman.
