Residence halls will close Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 10 a.m. and will re-open (only for students registered for Winter Term classes) Sunday, January 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. Students unable to leave halls at closing time for academic reasons must contact the Assistant Director of their area to request authorization to remain in the hall beyond closing time. Failure to comply will result in a disciplinary hearing and a fine of $50 per hour you stay past closing time.
If you are graduating, withdrawing or leaving for study abroad and not returning winter and spring terms, you must remove your belongings, schedule a check-out time with your RA and turn in your key 24 hours after your last exam.
Remember:
Close and lock your windows
Turn off all lights
Take out trash
Lock door
Set heater or thermostat to low heat or approximately 68 degrees.
Residence halls will be locked during break so be sure to take everything you need. Don’t forget to take your passport if you are studying abroad.
