English 275

Thousands of years ago, people canoed in dugout logs to travel and explore; today people still canoe to search, to contemplate and to test themselves in treacherous waters. This course will allow students to study recent non-fiction about canoeing as they write about their own exploration canoeing in the Everglades with Outward Bound.
