Chester “Chet” Burgess ’69 has been named Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Durham and Orange Counties. The honor was the subject of a feature story in the Jan. 19 edition of the Durham Herald-Sun newspaper.
Burgess has been in the home-building business for 30 years and is the owner of Chet Burgess Homes.
Burgess serves as a member of Elon’s National Alumni Executive Board
