Nataira Robinson ’95, Elon Volunteer Area Director for the Charlotte alumni, assembled several Elon alumni last Thursday evening to get acquainted, start organizing themselves and prepare for the Evening for Elon event planned for October 22 in Charlotte.

Nataira distributed lists of local alumni names and encouraged all to register and log in on the new and improved Alumni web site. Alumni can now type in the name of the city, like Charlotte, and see names of all alumni residing there. The group will be contacting area alumni about putting October 22 on their calendars. Also, the Charlotte alumni group agreed to put extra effort into getting more paid deposits for the NC Elon licence plate so the project will reach its minimum of 300 soon.
