The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is accepting applications and nominations for full-time students to serve as College Ambassadors for the 2001-02 academic year.
Soon to be called Elon Ambassadors, these students assist Institutional Advancement by acting as hosts at a variety of campus events, including Family Weekend, Homecoming Reunion Weekend and convocations. They are also involved with meetings of the Parents Council, the Alumni Executive Board, the Board of Visitors and the Board of Trustees. Ambassadors also travel with staff to selected alumni and parent events during the year.
Nominees must be full-time students of freshman, sophomore or junior class standing, and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. They should exhibit an outgoing personality, be enthusiastic about Elon and enjoy meeting alumni, parents and friends.
