Members of the public toured the press box, special guest suites and main concourse during the event. Rhodes Stadium, an 8,250-seat facility, will host its first football game Sept. 15, when the Elon Phoenix face Eastern Kentucky University.
Season ticket holders had the chance to locate their seats and enjoy the view, while tickets were also available for purchase during the afternoon.
Phoenix fans had an opportunity to meet head coach Al Seagraves and members of the football coaching staff during the open house. Dusty and Peggy Rhodes, the stadium’s major benefactors, were also on hand to greet members of the community.
