The conference room on the first floor of Powell Building has been named for Jo Watts Williams.
The Board of Trustees voted to name the recently remodeled space to honor Dr. Williams for her extraordinary service to Elon College.
Her sons have commissioned a portrait of Dr. Williams as a gift to the College. The conference room will be formally dedicated when the portrait is hung.
