Glenda Crawford, associate professor of education, and six seniors majoring in middle grades education, attended the Nationa Middle School Conference in Portland, Ore., Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
Three students made a presentation along with Crawford about recent Carnegie research and its implications for middle grades education. Three others presented with Crawford on teaching adolescents and shared problem-based learning instructional units they had designed.
