Elon students involved in national Internet study

A national study on the use of the Internet by college students has been released by the Pew Internet & American Life Project. The study included a survey of students at Elon. Details...

The report, titled “The Internet goes to college: How students are living in the future with today’s technology,” was written by Steve Jones, professor at the Unviersity of Illinois in Chicago.

Elon communications faculty members Connie Book and Janna Anderson worked with Jones to survey Elon students for the research, which was conducted last spring.

The results of the study were covered in the Sept. 16 edition of USA Today in a story titled “E-mail is the express route to the professor.” Click here to read the story.
