Elon to host Civic Engagement Summit June 26

Elon University will host a summit for community leaders on Wednesday, June 26. “Elon Listens: A Community Summit on Civic Engagement” will allow members of Elon’s academic, student and administrative community to hear from civic leaders and partners on how to enhance the quality of civic engagement in Alamance County and the surrounding region.

Please join us as we begin our institutional discussion on how Elon can participate as a responsive member of our shared civic community. The summit will begin at 8:30 a.m. on June 26 and features breakout sessions with community leaders and consultants. Lunch will be provided, and we will adjourn by 1:30 p.m.

The summit will be held in Elon’s Moseley Campus Center (McKinnon Room). Free parking is available in the Moseley Center parking lot.

Directions to Elon University

  • Take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 141. From southbound 85/40, exit right and turn right. From northbound 85/40, exit right and turn left.
  • Turn left onto Garden Road at light.
  • Turn right onto St. Mark’s Church Road at light.
  • Drive two miles to Elon University and follow the signs to Moseley Campus Center parking.
