The Office of Sponsored Programs will host a pair of information workshops Thursday, Oct. 24 for faculty members interested in learning more about funding from the National Institutes of Health.
Marie Willet, assistant to the director of extramural programs at NIH, will give an overview of the NIH review process and explain its significance in the proposal process. She will also discuss the AREA program and other NIH programs that are of particular interest to undergraduate institutions.
Sessions are scheduled from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. in the Isabella Cannon Room. Seating is limited to 60 people per session. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail Bonnie Smith in the Sponsored Programs office at sponsoredprograms@elon.edu.
