On Tuesday evening, August 3, alumni, parents, and friends of Elon College gathered at the O’Henry Hotel to meet Leo and Laurie Lambert and to hear from Dr. Lambert, Elon’s 8th President.

Elon Alumna Leslie Carter ’76, Guilford College Alumni & Parent Relations Director, secured the location for Elon.

Volunteers from the Parents Council who assisted at the event were: Ann Lynch P’02, Bob & Mary Beth Hunt P’01, Gary & Deanna Vos P’00, Dennis & Jane Crotts, P’00, P’94, P’87, and Mike Turanchik P’01.

Alumni Area Director volunteers at the event were: Brian Wright ’95 from Winston-Salem, Kelly Brady ’94, Charlie Ganim ’86 and Darrell Lea ’85 from Greensboro.

National Alumni Executive Board Volunteers at the event were: Priscilla Awkard ’95 and Mary Hope Best ’92.
