Elon students took advantage of Belk Library's around-the-clock schedule during final exams Dec. 8-13. Details...
Megann Haase, a senior from Sarasota, Fla., was studying Dec. 10 for a final exam later that day in her Income Taxation class, taught by faculty member Linda Poulson. “The library is the best place to study,” says Haase. “And they have coffee downstairs; that’s how I stay awake!”
Time management is key for senior Matt Haynes of Boston, Mass., who was hitting the books in preparation for his only exam on Dec. 10. “But I had three papers and presentations due, so prioritizing my time was important,” says Haynes. “You also have to find time to sleep, too.”
Belk Library was open 24 hours a day beginning Dec. 2 and maintained its continuous schedule until exams ended Dec. 13.
