Model United Nations Competes in Washington D.C.
19 members of Elon’s Model United Nations club attended the National Collegiate Security Conference sponsored by Georgetown University this past weekend. Members represented various countries and people in simulations of real United Nations committees and in simulations of various other political bodies. Chris Gaylor earned Honorable Delegate (Third Place) in his simulation of the Russian Presidium 1962. Ryan Sadler garnered Honorable Delegate (Third Place) in his simulation of the United Nations Security Council as the ambassador of Singapore.
