Winston Cup driver Jeff Green and crew chief Mike Beam held a question-and-answer session with students in Doug Glass’ Business of NASCAR course Friday, Jan. 24 in Long 106.
The event wrapped up a busy January for students in the course. They visited several race tracks and team shops, including a trip to Bill Davis Racing headquarters in High Point, N.C., for its annual Media Blitz event. Students had a chance to meet and talk with the team’s high profile Winston Cup drivers, Kenny Wallace and Elon alum Ward Burton.
Emily Rozelle, vice president for administration for NASCAR in Charlotte, visited the class Jan. 23 to discuss NASCAR’s business model and future strategies.
