Political science faculty involved in elections

Political science department faculty will be busy with activities related to the 2002 elections:

  • Tim Vercellotti, assistant professor of political science, will appear on WUNC-TV’s “North Carolina Now” at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5 and on “North Carolina Legislative Review” from 10 p.m.-11 p.m.
  • Sharon Spray, assistant professor of political science, will be a guest on WUNC-FM’s “The State of Things” with host Mary Hartnett. The show is tentatively scheduled to air at noon and 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 4.
  • Brian Lewis, an adjunct faculty member in the department, will be a guest on WFMY-TV 2 in Greensboro during the station’s morning and evening newscasts Nov. 5.
  • Chalmers Brumbaugh, professor of political science, will serve as a local election judge in Alamance County.
  • Betty Morgan, assistant professor of political science, moderated two recent candidate forums at the Paramount Theater in Burlington.
