Join the Student Union Board for Barry Scott’s tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr., Friday, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. in McKinnon Hall.
Mr. Scott delivers an awe-inspiring show based on the speeches of Dr. King. With his one-man show, he plays 13 different characters and brings sensibility to the characters. Barry Scott does indeed sound like Dr. King; he has studied his speeches with such detail that he has embraced the ideas and the teachings.
Come to McKinnon and hear what Coretta Scott King calls a “spirit of good will, a spirit of reason and a spirit of love.” His performance was realistic and an honest depiction of her late husband.
This is a “don’t miss” presentation about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
