The book review by Robert Morgan calls Allen’s book a “significant practical contribution to the practice of law” in North Carolina. The review was published in the Aug. 6 edition of the paper.
Allen’s second edition builds on the book’s first edition which was published five years ago. It is a comprehensive approach to numerous complex issues, including such legal matters as construction disputes, trade secrets, mediated settlements, class actions and bankruptcy.
Allen, a partner in the Raleigh firm of Allen and Pinnix, P.A., is chair of the Elon board of trustees and also an adjunct professor at Campbell University’s School of Law.
