CrossRoads is Alamance County’s sexual assault response and resource center and they are looking for dedicated volunteers to man the 24-hour crisis line for about 48 hours a month. The training sessions will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-8:30pm (2/21, 2/23, 2/28, 3/2, 3/7, 3/9) and one Saturday (3/11) from 9:00am-12:00pm. This is an amazing opportunity for human services, sociology, or psychology majors and minors, or anyone else who is interested in helping with a worthy cause. Contact Ginger at CrossRoads for more information or if you are interested in volunteering at 336-228-0813.
