English department faculty members Kevin Boyle and Richard Lee will read poems and fiction during a reading at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Center for the Arts on campus. The reading is free and open to the public.
Boyle will read from his latest collection of poetry, “A Home for Wayward Girls,” which won the New Issues Poetry Prize. His chapbook, “The Lullaby of History,” won the Mary Belle Campbell Poetry Book Prize. His poems have appeared in Alaska Quarterly, Denver Quarterly, Greensboro Review and The Michigan Quarterly Review.
Lee will read a fiction selection. An assistant professor of English at Elon, Lee also received an MFA degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Creative Writing Program.
