Heidi Frontani, Associate Professor of Geography, gave an invited talk at the Duke Marine Lab in Beaufort, NC on January 25th. Dr. Frontani spoke on the social aspects of marine protected area management in coral reef zones before a group of professors in the natural and physical sciences from Duke, UNC, and NC State Marine Labs and Duke University Masters and PhD students working towards degrees in Environment.
