Gail Pressberg, senior fellow at the Institute for Civil Society, will discuss difficulties and breakthroughs in efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East during a presentation at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon campus. Sponsored by the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life, her Pressberg’s presentation is free and open to the public.
Pressberg is former executive director of the Foundation for Middle East Peace. Her presentation will draw from her efforts to bring Israeli, Palestinian and Arab leaders together in the pursuit of peace. Pressberg, who has appeared on CNN and Good Morning America, is a recipient of the Janet Lee Stevens Memorial Award from the University of Pennsylvania.
