Bill Burpitt, Love School of Business, has had a third article accepted by the Academy of Management for its 2006 Conference. The article, Entrepreneurial Strategies in a Declining Industry, co-authored by Dr. Sally Fowler of American University, examines the advantages of an entrepreneurial strategy for firms considering how to respond to pressures from low-cost, off-shore rivals. This paper is one of three that explores the alternatives facing firms in the U.S. furniture industry.
