Peter Felten, director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, co-authored an article that appears in the new (March 2006) edition of the Journal of American History.
The article, “Ways of Seeing: Evidence and Learning in the History Classroom,” explores how students learn to read and interpret visual sources in history. The article is the product of a five-year scholarship of teaching and learning research collaboration funded by Georgetown University’s Visible Knowledge Project.
