Pranab Das, professor of physics, been invited to make a presentation to the Executive Board of the International Society of Science and Religion (ISSR). He will attend the annual board meeting in London on April 9 and present a proposal for a major new ISSR initiative.
ISSR membership is by invitation and consists of the leading scholars in the field of science and religion from around the globe. The central aim of the Society is the facilitation of dialogue between the two academic disciplines of science and religion and it seeks to safeguard the quality and rigor of this dialogue in the academic arena. Das has been a member of the ISSR since 2003.
