Crowe to lead student group to Poland

David Crowe, professor of history, will lead a group of nine students from Elon, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Greensboro College on a 9-day March of the Living program in Poland May 22-30.

The Greensboro Jewish Federation asked Dr. Crowe to develop the program and select the students to participate. All expenses for the program are being generously paid for by The Miriam and Abe Brenner Holocaust Education Scholarship Fund of the Greensboro Jewish Federation. Crowe will also deliver one of the opening lectures at the program’s opening conference, which will featue prominent Holocaust scholars from the United States and Israel. Crowe will lecture on “Non-Jewish Victims and the Holocaust.” Crowe will also be responsible for a number of other university groups while in Poland.
