The Phoenix Phanatics announce the launch of the organization’s Web site. The Phanatics are a student organization with a mission to increase Elon student pride through the athletics program. Each week starting in the fall of 2006, the Phanatics, with the help of the Phoenix coaching staff, will display a “Player of the Week” on the Web site highlighting a fellow student’s accomplishments both on and off the field.
The Phanatics received the award for “New Student Organization” for the 2005-2006 academic year by the Student Government Association earlier this spring.
