From July 26 to 30 Pranab Das, professor of physics, and the Global Perspectives on Science and Spirituality team hosted an international workshop in Saint Germaine en Laye near Paris. Twenty-five teams of scholars from 5 continents were invited to present their research and to refine proposals for the GPSS Major Awards Program.
Consultants and outside speakers, including one of Europe’s leading philosophers, Bernard D’Espagnat, also attended. The participants will submit their full applications for review in September in competition for three-year awards ranging from $200,000 to $300,000.
