Charles Cook, one of the nation’s leading authorities on U.S. elections and a frequent guest on major network news shows, will look ahead to the 2006 elections during a presentation at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6 in Yeager Recital Hall, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.
Cook is editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report and is an analyst for the National Journal Group, where he writes weekly for National Journal magazine and CongressDailyAM. He has appeared on major network shows, including NBC’s “Meet the Press,” ABC’s “This Week” and “Nightline,” and “CBS Evening News.” He has also served as an election night analyst for CBS and NBC. He speaks to dozens of national and regional associations, entertaining audiences with his memorable stories, quick wit and insights into the American political landscape.
