Holocaust survivor David Faber will speak at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon University campus. Hillel and the Resident Student Association are sponsors for this event.
Faber was born in Poland in 1926 and suffered Nazi persecution from 1939 to 1945. He witnessed the murder of his parents and six of his seven siblings during the Holocaust and was imprisoned in eight different concentration camps, including Auschwitz. Faber speaks to fulfill the promise he made to his mother, “to tell the world.”
Faber’s presentation is free and open to the public.
