Corporate communications majors Tyler Lesch and Kiley Moorefield, who recently pitched their idea for a television commercial to Chevrolet executives in Detroit, are pictured in a Nov. 13 USA Today story. The article is about companies who are asking consumers to help create television ads for the Super Bowl in February.
Lesch and Moorefield traveled to Detroit Oct. 27-30 as part of the Chevy Super Bowl Ad Challenge. They were one of five teams of finalists to present their outlines to Chevy executives on Oct. 30. Lesch, Moorefield and the other finalists also spent the weekend working with executives at Campbell Ewald, Chevrolet’s ad agency, fine tuning their proposals. The students also had use of a Chevrolet car for the weekend and were able to drive other Chevy vehicles.
Chevy will announce the winning team in the next few weeks.
