John Guiniven, associate professor of communications, is quoted in the December 2006 edition of the Society for Human Resource Managment’s online newsletter.
The newsletter examines town hall meetings for employees with corporate CEOs and ways to make them more effective. In the story, Guiniven says these meetings must be conducted as a dialogue, not a monologue by the CEO.
“It’s important to remember it is very intimidating to deal with the CEO if you aren’t a junior CEO yourself,” Guiniven says in the article.
