Several Elon graduates will grace Broadway stages in New York during the coming year.
Daniel Watts ’04 has been serving as a swing member of the cast of “The Color Purple” since October. Watts fills in for cast members who must miss performances due to illness, injury or vacation. Most recently, he was scheduled to fill in for two ensemble members of the cast from Nov. 21 to Nov. 28.
Allison Spratt ’00 will appear on Broadway in Kander and Ebb’s new musical, “Curtains.” She will also serve as a swing member and as an understudy for several leading roles. Previews of the show begin Feb. 27, with the opening scheduled for March 27.
Lindsay Northen ’03 will appear in the Broadway production of “Wicked,” both in the ensemble and as an understudy for the character Glinda. Performances of “Wicked” will begin in late January.
