Hugh Holliman ’66, of Lexington, N.C., has been selected by Democrats to be majority leader in the North Carolina House of Representatives. The Davidson County lawmaker was named to the post Jan. 10. As majority leader, Holliman will be responsible for helping Democrats
agree on a common agenda and working to bridge disagreements among
individual members. He has been elected to four terms in the N.C. House.
