Interested in having an impact on the Elon community? Want to make decisions to better the Elon student body? Then run for a Student Government position. You have the opportunity to represent your class, major, or general student body.

Pick up an application today in the SGA Office (Moseley 221-A), The Office of Student Development (Moseley 206) or print out the Elections Packet found at http://org.elon.edu/sga/Electionspacket2007.pdf. All applications are due to the SGA Office by 5:00 pm Monday, February 12, 2007. There will be a mandatory meeting for all candidates on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 5:30 pm.
In order to run for a senate seat or an executive office you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or above (no rounding) and be in good social standing.
Elections will take place online from February 20th at 9:00am to February 21st at 5:00pm. All students (including current seniors) vote for Executive Officers and Academic Council seats. Students vote for class officers based on their affinity class or the semester they entered:
If you entered in Fall of 2006 or Winter/Spring 2007, you will vote for Sophomore Class officers
If you entered in Fall 2005 or Winter/Spring 2006, you will vote for Junior Class Officers
If you entered in Fall 2004 or WT/SP 2005, you will vote for Senior Class Officers
Please note: SGA cannot adjust these groupings. Students who have earned additional credits will still vote for class officers based on their date of entering the University.
