Do you have memories from studying abroad? Enter the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies (ICCIS) essay contest to compete for great prizes! If you studied abroad during Spring Semester 2006, Summer 2006, Fall Semester 2006, or Winter Term 2007 you may enter the contest. Submissions must be 5-10 page essays, 12-point Times New Roman font, and double spaced. An application can be found on the ICCIS website or at the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies.
Essays must address one of the following topics:
-The challenges of being a global citizen in the 21st century.
-Perceptions of the United States abroad.
-The impact of your study abroad experience on your future professional work.
-The contribution of your study abroad experience to finding yourself and your place in the world.
Submissions will be accepted Monday, March 5th – Wednesday, March 14th.
Prizes will include:
$200 First Place
$100 Honorable Mention
