Fighting the Good Fight:Comparative Models of Women’s Activism March 26

Women’s and Gender Studies at Elon will hold a panel discussion on Monday evening, March 26, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Room 011 McEwen.

“Fighting the Good Fight: Comparative Types of Women’s Activism” will include presentations by Elon alumnae and Americorps Volunteers, Becky Schrier and Colleen Clark; Claudia Horwitz, founder and director of Stone Circles, an organization dedicated to sustaining activists and social justice through spiritual practice; and Debra Rodman, assistant professor of anthropology and women’s studies at Randolph-Macon College.

The discussion will be moderated by Lisa Marie Peloquin, assistant professor, sociology, Elon University and Rod Clare, assistant professor of history, Elon University.
