The Elon Ballroom Dance Club just participated in its first ballroom dance competition at the Charlotte Dancesport Challenge on Saturday March 24th. The club sent three couples, and each couple did very well.
Megan Cunningham and Elizabeth Foggie received a 6th place award in American Swing and made it through the semi-final rounds in International Cha Cha.
Chad Zimmermann and Carly Altizer made it through the semi-final rounds of both American Swing and Cha Cha.
Jamie Gorsuch and Kelly McCarty received a 3rd place award in American Swing, a 4th place award in American Waltz, and 5th place awards in both American Cha Cha and Tango.
