Production Assistant Internship

National Training Network was founded by Brian E. Enright in 1990. National Training Network prides itself in providing programs designed to meet the needs of lower performing middle school mathematics students. The company has grown over the past fifteen years from its founder to a team of over 30 professional educators and support staff. By the end of 2006, National Training Network will be a part of at least fifteen school districts, both large and small throughout the United States.

Our production department is responsible for the website, videos, and any other media related projects the company needs. We use Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash for website and Avid for video editing.

Qualifications:
o Knowledge of video editing and or website design.
o Proficient in all mathematics concepts.( through high school, including calculus)
o Able to take initiative in projects.
o Great time management skills.
o Great organizational skills
o Approachable by staff and outside clientel.
o Professional telephone manners and office etiquette.
o Open to learning new things and adaptable to change.

Job Description: Production Assistant will gain knowledge in the production side of a company. He/she will assist with web design, camera work, editing, and work in the production studio. Additional responsibilities of the PA include assisting the Vice-President of Product Development, the Senior Project Manager, and other office staff as needed. When assisting the Vice-President of Product Development the PA is expected to evaluate and solve math problems that are used in our product on a daily basis. Other responsibilities will include organizing files, corresponding with outside resources, and other tasks assigned.

Education: Working toward a four-year college degree. Applicants need to have a high proficiency in mathematics through the high school level, including calculus. We prefer someone with great people skills that works great in various environments. The PA must be comfortable using a computer, copier, and fax machine.
