A student-centered conference on the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the events that necessitated this commission will be taking place at North Carolina A&T this Saturday, April 14th, 9-4 p.m.
This conference, which deals with the commission’s work and related topics, has been co-organized by Stephen Schulman, assistant professor of philosophy, his political philosophy class, and faculty and students from other Greensboro area colleges and universities, including UNC-G and Guilford.
There will be presenters from this area and from as far away as Michigan. There will be papers, art, spoken word and dance (including the work of Lauren Kearns, assistant professor of Performing Arts here at Elon). The conference is free and open to the public.
